Terms of Service

Last updated: September 21, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Guitar, including the Guitar Discord bot, dashboard, website, Premium subscription, and related services ("Service").

By adding Guitar to a Discord server, using the dashboard, or purchasing or using Guitar Premium, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Guitar is permitted under the rules that apply to you, including Discord's rules and the laws applicable to your location.

You are responsible for the Discord account you use with Guitar and for actions taken through that account.

3. Guitar Service

Guitar provides Discord music playback, queues, playlists, discovery, dashboard controls, server utilities, and related features.

Features may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove functionality when necessary to maintain or improve the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Guitar to:

  • break Discord's rules or applicable law;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, abuse, or interfere with the Service;
  • attempt unauthorized access to the bot, dashboard, database, or infrastructure;
  • circumvent Premium access controls or payment verification;
  • use the Service in a way intended to damage Guitar or other users.

5. Premium

Guitar Premium is an optional paid subscription currently offered at $3.99 USD per month, unless a different price is clearly displayed at checkout.

Premium Access

Premium features are linked to the Discord account used for the purchase and are activated through our payment and entitlement system.

Server-Specific Customization

Certain Premium customization features may apply only to the Discord server where they are configured. Access to those controls is limited by Guitar's Premium entitlement rules.

Subscription Billing

Premium is a recurring subscription. Billing and payment processing are handled through our payment provider and are subject to the provider's applicable terms.

No refunds: Premium purchases are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or by mandatory payment-provider requirements.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the available payment provider controls. Cancellation affects future renewals and does not automatically create a refund for a period already paid for.

6. Payments

Guitar does not directly store your full payment-card details. Payment information is handled by the payment provider used at checkout.

By purchasing Premium, you agree to provide accurate information required for payment and subscription processing.

7. Third-Party Services

Guitar depends on third-party services, including Discord and payment and infrastructure providers. Those services have their own terms, policies, availability, and technical limitations.

Guitar is not responsible for outages, policy changes, or failures caused by third-party services.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Guitar available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, infrastructure issues, Discord outages, network problems, or other circumstances may temporarily affect the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

Guitar's original software, branding, website design, and related materials are owned by their respective rights holders unless otherwise stated.

You retain rights in content you provide or control, subject to the rights and licenses required for Guitar to provide its features.

10. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access to Guitar where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, payment issues, violation of these Terms, or protection of the Service and its users.

You may stop using Guitar at any time.

11. Disclaimer

Guitar is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that every feature will always operate without interruption or error.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guitar and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be updated on this page.

14. Contact
